The St. Johns Lighthouse has been standing watch in historic Mayport, FL since the 1830's. Today, it stands on Mayport Naval Air Station, with proximity to a truly 21st century watch-stander: a U.S. Navy Triton drone launch/recovery center.
Painted on site, in plein air.
